1 day agoTara Airs 9 NAET twin-engine aircraft carrying 19 passengers flying from Pokhara to Jomsom in Nepal at 955am has lost contact said Airport. A Tara Air De Havilland Canada DHC-6300 Twin Otter aircraft went missing in a mountainous area in Nepal on May 29 2022. According to the airline company the passengers include 13 Nepali four Indian and two German nationals.

The Tara Air aircraft that left Pokhara Airport this morning carrying 19 passengers and three crew members has gone out of contact since this morning. The Tara Airlines plane which was on a 15-minute scheduled flight to the mountain town of Jomsom took off from the resort town of Pokhara 200 kilometers 125 miles east of Kathmandu. The aircraft is believed to be carrying 22 people including three crew members.

The airline is based at Tribhuvan International Airport with a secondary hub at Nepalgunj Airport. The 9N-AET Twin Otter plane was carrying four Indians two Germans 13 Nepalese people along with three crew members. The plane had 22 people on board including 4 Indians.
